Galstyan’s Speaking Club uses member data only to run the club platform and its meetup community.
Information we collect
Email registration collects your first name, surname, age, nationality, gender choice, email address, and agreement to our Terms and Privacy Policy. You may choose “Prefer not to say” for gender. Age is stored as a snapshot with a recorded date; we do not collect your date of birth. Legacy provider accounts may retain their existing name and profile image. If you complete a member profile, we may also store your display name, Telegram username, English level, and profile photo.
Member features can store bookings, attendance and payment status, loyalty rewards, notifications, and question progress such as favorites, explored questions, and continuation state.
How we use it
We use this information to operate accounts, organise meetups, manage bookings and member benefits, keep question progress in sync across your devices, and communicate relevant club updates. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are never stored in member profile tables. We do not sell personal information.
Storage, cookies, and local data
Authentication, database records, and profile images are provided through Supabase. The public static site is hosted on Timeweb. The browser may use local storage for your theme preference, guest question progress, and safe retries of unsent question changes. Signed-in question data is synchronised with your member account. Supabase Auth sessions are stored in browser local storage; use Log out on shared devices. Cloudflare Turnstile processes a security challenge to help prevent automated abuse. A resend cooldown timestamp is stored for your browser session.
Your choices
You can update your profile and remove an uploaded avatar from your account. To request account or data deletion, use the deletion-request section in your profile; the club will verify the request before acting.
